Work Visa “D” Type
The work visa “D” type is a long-stay visa that allows non-EU citizens to work in Latvia. It’s usually paired with a work permit and a residence permit, and it’s valid for up to one year. This visa also allows you to stay in other Schengen member states for up to 90 days within a 180 day period.

Required Documents For Apply For Visa ”D”
- Valid Passport
- Long stay visa e-application form printed and signed by the applicant.
- Two photo (Size 35mm x 45 mm) must be taken during visa submission
